About The Position
We are seeking a passionate Nursing Leader to improve behavioral health in the community. The Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is an 18-bed inpatient, free-standing Adult Psychiatric hospital specializing in treating Anxiety, Major Depression, Mood disturbances, Psychosis, and other mental health illnesses. NHC partners with the community to provide psychiatric care to adult patients requiring inpatient hospitalization due to mental health illnesses. This is an opportunity to do more than just pass medications.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Licensed and registered to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state employed.
- CPR certificate within 30 days of hire.
- CPI certificate within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in psychiatric nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult patients requiring inpatient hospitalization due to mental health illnesses.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Utilize current, research-based, Best Practice protocols.
- Meet and exceed the expectations of patients, families, referral sources, payers, and partners.
