About The Position

Cooperative Home Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide private-duty nursing care to a pediatric patient in Florissant, Missouri. The role offers one-to-one patient relationships in a home setting and a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (40 hours per week). Pay is $32.00 to $35.00 per hour. Sign-on bonuses are available for picking up shifts; nurses may qualify by working as little as one eight-hour shift per week, with larger bonuses for taking on more hours. Cooperative Home Care provides comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training, including training through local hospitals to help nurses care for higher-acuity clients. Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri.
Active CPR certification; the employer can provide a class if the applicant’s certification is not active.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
Assist clients with home and social activities and promote independence at home.
Complete all necessary clinical documentation.
