LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) – ORTHOPEDICS
About The Position
Join a comprehensive orthopedic practice caring for patients with a wide range of injuries and conditions, including sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, spine conditions, and joint replacement. The team provides surgical and nonsurgical care, and the LPN supports patients throughout their orthopedic care and recovery. The position works in offices in Middleburg Heights and Parma, supporting multiple providers in a fast-paced setting. Regular weekday hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, and Friday mornings starting at 8:00 am, with rotating afternoon coverage until 3:00 pm. Scheduled end times may extend based on patient care and office needs. There are no weekends or holidays.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current Ohio LPN license.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate, professional approach to patient care.
- Ability to quickly learn practice-specific procedures and technology.
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and adapt in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple providers in fast-paced offices at the Middleburg Heights and Parma locations.
- Prepare patients for visits and obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
- Assist physicians with office procedures and diagnostic testing.
- Handle specimens, forms, orders, and other patient-care tasks.
- Perform splinting, casting, and other orthopedic-specific clinical care as appropriate to the role.
- Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and quality procedures.
- Prioritize responsibilities, adapt to changing needs, and support teammates.
