About The Position
Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. This position offers the flexibility of PRN scheduling while providing exceptional care to our residents during 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor residents' health, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or senior care is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Assess residents and report changes in condition promptly.
- Document care provided in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure quality resident care.
- Respond appropriately to resident emergencies.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members.
