Supports the licensed healthcare team members in the provision of patient care to include direct patient care, providing healthcare information to patients/families, and following established plan of care. Works in close collaboration with the RN or a licensed healthcare team member to evaluate the patient's plan of care and progress toward goal attainment. All patient care activities are undertaken with the delegation/supervision of a licensed professional in accordance with VUMC standards and licensure regulations. The Vanderbilt Health Spine Clinic within the Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery (OHO) program specializes in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of spine-related conditions affecting patients of all ages. Our multidisciplinary team provides expert care for a wide range of disorders, including back and neck pain, degenerative spine conditions, spinal deformities, and injuries. We emphasize a patient-centered approach, combining advanced diagnostic techniques with both non-surgical and surgical treatment options to deliver individualized care plans. Services include imaging, physical therapy coordination, pain management, and state-of-the-art surgical interventions when appropriate. Our team is dedicated to improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life through collaborative, evidence-based care in a supportive and compassionate environment.
