Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (79749)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Day Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison in Jackson, GA. This role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Travel LPNs assigned to Georgia can earn up to $1740/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country. The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Georgia, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. Eagles supporting the Georgia program must reside outside of the state of Georgia.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Georgia.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
