About The Position

This is a career opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care, Short Term Rehab, and Skilled Nursing. The role involves the day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for assigned residents. The nurse will provide direct and indirect care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care, adhering to state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards. This position also includes supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and other licensed nurses within the building, following all state and federal guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate from credentialed school of nursing
• Currently licensed as a nurse in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care.
• Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
• Supervises administratively in the building assigned, Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses of all staff of his/her respective discipline.
• Supervision follows all accepted state and federal guidelines for the respective discipline.
