About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care. The role works under direct supervision, following the applicable state Nurse Practice Act and practice guidelines while applying nursing judgment. The LPN delivers nursing care to patients, collects patient data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information. The LPN may also direct and supervise other nursing staff as needed. Full-time and PRN schedules are available, with shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

Must hold an LPN license in good standing with the state, as required.
Reliable transportation is required.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care to patients requiring care.
Collect patient data, make observations, and report pertinent information related to patient care.
Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing staff as needed.
