About The Position
Join Ginger Cove, a premier life-care retirement community in Annapolis known for exceptional care, teamwork, and a resident-centered environment. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living team. This position offers a consistent 3-day per week schedule with 12-hour shifts, allowing for improved work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Current certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Maryland
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to acquire prior to employment
- Minimum two to three years of nursing experience
- Ability to organize, supervise, delegate and provide leadership
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Computer literacy; ability to document care given
- Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe
- Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and tact in dealing with others

- Knowledge and experience working with the senior community preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing assessments, oversight, and resident-centered care
- Monitor resident health status and communicate updates with families and physicians
- Assist with care planning, chart reviews, and clinical documentation
- Support medication management and treatment oversight
- Collaborate with caregivers, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with infection control, quality assurance, and wellness initiatives
- Support and educate caregiving staff on clinical best practices
