About The Position
Pleasantview Nursing Center is hiring a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care. This position involves developing and implementing individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure customer needs are met. The LPN will also assist in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel, attend to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift basis, and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Utilize a general understanding of nursing principles in the development and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans.
- Ensure that the needs of the customers are met.
- Assist in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
- Attend to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift basis.
- Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.
