About The Position

Malone Medical Practices at University of Vermont Health – Alice Hyde Medical Center is a primary care clinic that utilizes a team-based approach to deliver high-quality care. The Licensed Practical Nurse will work alongside primary care providers, performing routine check-ups, well-care appointments, and coordinating care and referrals to specialists.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Accountable and responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medication(s), and provide nursing treatment under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician or other health care provider.
Monitoring that Plan of Care is being followed by clinical staff under their supervision.
Supervise certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel.
Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit health care team and services.
