About The Position
Provides professional nursing care to patients in support of and as directed by the physician. Observes, conducts, and documents thorough assessments of patients’ medical status throughout treatment. Performs assigned back-office duties and rotates as a telephone triage nurse, working efficiently and professionally. All duties are performed in accordance with Practice policies and procedures. The role may include related duties as required. Responsibilities identified in the posting are considered essential functions under the Americans with Disabilities Act; related duties not mentioned are not considered essential functions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or a nursing vocational or nursing technical school.
- Current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State.
- Specialized certifications as needed.
Responsibilities

- Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
- Observe, conduct, and document thorough assessments of patients’ medical status throughout treatment.
- Perform assigned back-office duties.
- Rotate as a telephone triage nurse in an efficient and professional manner.
- Perform duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as required.
