About The Position

CareOne at the Highlands is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse. This role involves the day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents, including direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care. The nurse will ensure care is provided in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice. This position also includes administrative supervision of Certified Nursing Assistants and other licensed nurses.

Requirements

• Graduate from credentialed school of nursing
• Currently licensed as a nurse in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care.
• Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
• Supervises administratively in the building assigned, Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses of all staff of his/her respective discipline.
• Supervision follows all accepted state and federal guidelines for the respective discipline.
