About The Position

Our Advance Urology Associate Clinic is now seeking an LPN to join their team! This is a Full-Time Day position working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This role offers no weekends and no holidays. In a clinic setting, the LPN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. The role involves scheduling emergent need patient appointments, identifying learning needs for patients and families, providing advice and recommendations, inserting intravenous access with medication administration, and performing other duties as assigned based on clinic need. The LPN delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and Scope of Practice. This position serves as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. The LPN enters admission orders as directed by the provider and is responsible for managing expired samples. The ideal candidate is able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously, possesses excellent customer service skills, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse - Various
  • 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Associate Degree
  • LPN MO and KS required

Nice To Haves

  • Urology background experience preferred
  • Experience with catheter placement/exchange preferred
