Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to provide personalized, one-on-one care to patients in their homes in Passaic County, New Jersey, including Clifton, Passaic, Wayne, and surrounding communities. This is a flexible per diem opportunity, with assignments based on patient needs and nurse availability. Compensation is $45 per hour for nursing shifts and $85 per LPN visit. Scheduling opportunities include weekday and weekend shifts, as well as day and overnight shifts. The role offers private-pay home care cases, support from accessible clinical leadership, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN license.
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in an acute care or home care setting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
- PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years.
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical exemption.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, Medical-Surgical, or Home Care. Ventilator and tracheostomy experience is preferred but not required.
