Elderwood at Hamburg is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities. As an LPN, you’ll provide attentive nursing care, collaborate with residents’ interdisciplinary care teams, and help residents achieve the highest possible level of health, comfort, and independence. Requirements

  • Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a New York State license required.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel required.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
  • Caring, respectful attitude towards residents required.
  • Physical stamina for constant activity required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Nice To Haves

  • LPN Training and work experience in a geriatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
