About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Hendersonville WIC clinic. This role supports licensed healthcare team members in patient care, including direct patient care, providing healthcare information, and following established care plans. The LPN works closely with RNs or other licensed healthcare professionals to evaluate patient care plans and progress. All patient care activities are performed under the delegation and supervision of a licensed professional, adhering to VUMC standards and licensure regulations. The Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics provide urgent medical care for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries for patients two months of age and older, offering services like point-of-care lab testing, EKG, X-ray, and minor surgical procedures on a walk-in basis or with online spot saving.

Requirements

LIC-Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee
Relevant Work Experience
1 year experience
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
