About The Position

Life Care Center of the North Shore is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to patients as part of an interdisciplinary team. The LPN provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions, assigning duties, instructing CNAs, and providing clinical supervision. Evening and night shifts are available: 3 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM. Full-time and part-time positions are available. The facility describes its environment as supportive and family-like.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Current license or registration in the applicable state; maintain an active LPN/LVN license in good standing throughout employment.
CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintained as current throughout employment.
Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Nice To Haves

One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
