About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work at the Convalescent Center in Nespelem, WA. This position is responsible for providing nursing care and adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. The role requires the ability to make independent decisions and the flexibility to cover extra shifts as the facility operates 24/7.

Requirements

• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Washington.
• 12 months of experience in a long-term care facility.
• Knowledgeable of nursing, medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
• Must report abuse and neglect to State Hotline as a mandated reporter.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Must successfully clear an extensive Criminal History Background Inquiry and maintain throughout employment.
• Must maintain a State Driver's License and be eligible for the Tribes' insurance throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a long-term care facility.
