About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Elkhart Meadows, you will develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of residents and staff. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, supporting a rewarding care experience. The position offers 8-hour day shifts, with full-time and part-time schedule options, and an earning potential of $30–$34 per hour. A $10,000 sign-on/retention bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
