Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - FT Days | Winter Garden
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide nursing care on a hospital nursing unit under the direction of an RN. The nurse gathers and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The position also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The posting identifies this as a full-time day-shift role in Winter Garden. Current state or eligible compact-state licensure and BLS certification are required. IV certification is required within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
