About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience across a variety of patient care units. This full-time, day-shift role is in the Float Pool at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS certificate from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• IV certification upon hire, as required by state-specific requirements.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of acute care nursing experience is preferred.
• Current ACLS certificate from AHA or ARC is preferred; alternatively, obtain it within 60 days of hire.
