Licensed Practical Nurse - Private Duty Nursing
About The Position
Our BAYADA Delaware County Office is interested in a Licensed Practical Nurse who has a passion for nursing to join our Skilled Nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. This role involves traditional shifts (4’s, 8’s, 10’s or 12’s) with hands-on care for only one client per day, allowing for the building of client relationships and watching their milestones. The day-to-day involves traveling to one client home near you on a schedule you choose, following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders, performing assessments and monitoring clients' conditions, documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations, and feeling empowered to perform skills with autonomy in the home.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
Responsibilities
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
