About The Position
McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the night shift for our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Concord, NC. McLeod Centers for Wellbeing's mission is to build a foundation of healing and hope based on equity, education, and evidence-based practice for all communities. Founded in 1969 in Charlotte, North Carolina, it has grown to be one of the largest providers of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina, offering compassionate support for patients' journey to recovery from initial assessment to customized aftercare.
Requirements
- Valid NC LPN or LPN from another state that participates in the multistate nurse licensure compact.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual applicants will receive an additional five percent (5%) pay differential, subject to verification of language proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication to clients according to medical orders.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping, to include notes as required.
- Perform intake with new clients.
- Ensure doctor’s orders are followed.
- Obtain vital signs from clients as needed or as ordered by the doctor.
- Respond to staff needs – give PPD tests, respond to medical codes.
- Audit charts, ensure medical inventory is stocked.
