About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. The hospital features 60 private patient rooms and two rehab therapy gyms equipped with cutting-edge technology. The position involves providing nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to established standards and hospital policies. Pay is determined by experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an LPN/LVN
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established federal, state, and regulatory body nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures.
