About The Position
Community Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN to provide 1:1 private duty nursing care for an 11-year-old male child in Beaverdale, PA. This part-time, day shift role focuses on delivering personalized, quality care in a supportive home setting, allowing for meaningful connections and a visible impact on the child's life. The position is ideal for nurses looking to slow down and become a trusted part of a child's life.
Requirements
- Current LPN (or RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of nursing experience (home health preferred, but not required)
- CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- A caring heart, strong independence, and a passion for pediatric care
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Perform g-tube care/feedings/aspiration cautions
- Monitor seizures
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family
- Deliver exceptional, family-centered pediatric care
