About The Position

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on clinical care and oversight for senior residents. The role is suited to an LPN who takes ownership of resident outcomes, acts with integrity, and works collaboratively in a senior living environment.

The LPN provides direct nursing care, administers and oversees medications and treatments, monitors residents’ health, and helps ensure accurate documentation, care planning, and regulatory compliance. The position also involves communicating with physicians, pharmacies, and care partners and supervising or supporting caregivers, CNAs, and Med Techs as assigned.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead with professionalism and integrity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with state scope of practice.
• Administer and oversee medications and treatments.
• Monitor resident health status and respond to changes in condition.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and care partners.
• Supervise and support caregivers, CNAs, and Med Techs as assigned.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Support care planning, service plans, and regulatory compliance.
• Follow infection control, safety, and clinical policies.
