About The Position
Murdoch Developmental Center is currently recruiting for Licensed Practical Nurses on 1st shift. The primary purpose of the LPN position is to provide direct clinical services and medication and treatment administration. This LPN performs and documents nursing procedures and techniques as prescribed by the physician and outlined in the Person Centered Plan. This LPN performs duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This LPN works with the RN in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. ALL employees of Murdoch Center are designated as ESSENTIAL for adverse weather and emergency events.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina or in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Must be able to pass Healthcare Provider CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) written and physical requirements as a condition of employment.
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Must be in good standing with the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry.
- Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
