About The Position

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking two compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in Hartsdale and Yonkers, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who values collaborative care, meaningful client relationships, and a supportive work environment. Requirements

  • Valid New York State LPN license
  • Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, or psychiatric settings
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Comfort conducting observed urine testing
  • Ability to use electronic health record systems and related technology
  • Ability to travel to assigned clinic locations
  • NYSED Infection Control certification (or qualifying exemption)

Responsibilities

  • Conducting vital signs and general health monitoring
  • Screening for psychiatric, substance use, and medical concerns
  • Administering injectable medications
  • Managing medication refills and prior authorizations
  • Coordinating with pharmacies, providers, and primary care physicians
  • Maintaining accurate electronic health records and lab documentation
  • Supporting telepsychiatry and psychiatric scheduling
  • Conducting urine drug screens and breathalyzer testing
  • Assisting clients with referrals and continuity of care
  • Maintaining nursing and medical supplies
