About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment, including medications, as prescribed by a physician. The LPN implements direct care safely, effectively, and efficiently in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care. The role is on-call, with shifts and days varying as needed, at the Recovery Center at Sarpy, a 16-bed facility serving residents aged 19 and older who have a serious mental illness and are experiencing mental-health-related difficulties.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
Current LPN licensure in the state of operation.
Current CPR/BLS certificate.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must obtain CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification by the date of employment or within 60 days of employment, and maintain current certification throughout employment.
Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, two-step PPD tuberculosis test, criminal background clearances, excluded-party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
If driving is required for the position, a valid driver's license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
