About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking PRN LPNs for day and overnight shifts at their Metairie, LA location. This role involves providing quality medical care to clients throughout their treatment journey, coordinating pharmacy and prescription needs, dispensing medication, and maintaining accurate med logs. The LPN will also collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination and maintain meticulous client medical documentation. Patient education in individual and group settings is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings
