Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF): Full Time Employees of the Multnomah County Health Department qualify for the Federal Student Aid U.S Department Of Education Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. At Corrections Health, we provide medically needed health care to adults and youth in custody at Multnomah County Jails and Juvenile Detention Facility. The Licensed Practical Nurse works within the healthcare team and provides focused community and clinic health services directed towards the prevention of disease, the promotion of health, improving clients self-care, using professional judgment, screening, contributing to care planning, intervention, and provides health information/education to patients. The MSR LPN also will assist with reviewing MSR referrals, and refer to a nurse or providers as appropriate. This recruitment is used to fill on-call, temporary/limited duration, and regular status positions. This recruitment is for the Corrections Health LPN team as well as the Medication Supported Recovery (MSR), Licensed Practical Nurse positions on the Transition Services Program.
