About The Position

Pickering Manor is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in Newtown, PA. As an LPN at Pickering Manor, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate and high-quality care to senior residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort while addressing their daily health needs. This role is crucial for maintaining the standard of senior care that Pickering Manor has upheld for over 60 years. The position is full-time and involves working in Skilled Nursing units, with openings for day (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and evening (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) shifts. A shift differential of $3.00 is offered for evening shifts.

Requirements

Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
Strong knowledge of hospital medicine practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with daily living activities and support residents' personal hygiene needs.
Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Educate residents and their families about health management and wellness strategies.
