Med Surg Neuroscience LPN
About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an LPN for the Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit. This unit is a community of nurses and other disciplines who believe in the importance of camaraderie and teamwork, sharing the same values, vision, and goals to provide exceptional care to neuroscience patients. They provide highly skilled care to patients including back and neck surgical patients, epilepsy patients, all neurosurgeries (brain, pituitary, etc.), and stroke patients (surgical and non-surgical). As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career with the opportunity to work in many different specialties such as hospital, home health, hospice, or our medical group. The primary duties of this position include triaging, verifying medical information, caring for the patient's overall health, and working closely with the doctors and other team members. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.
