About The Position

Winchester Gardens, a Springpoint Senior Living community in Maplewood, New Jersey, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to provide quality nursing care to residents and supervise daily nursing activities performed by CNAs. The role provides direct nursing care to Independent Living residents and supports physician services in a clinic setting. Duties also include assisting with employee medical clearances and injuries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid LPN license.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care provided to residents by CNAs/CHHAs.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain residents’ privacy, confidentiality, and dignity.
• Assist with resident assessments and coordinate residents’ plans of care.
• Provide emergency care to Independent Living residents.
• Provide medications and treatments to Independent Living residents.
• Assist physicians in a medical office setting.
• Assist with new-hire medical clearances.
• Assist with employee injuries.
