About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care. The role works under direct supervision and follows the state-specific Nurse Practice Act and Practice Guidelines, using nursing judgment. The LPN delivers nursing care to patients, collects patient data, makes observations, and reports information relevant to patient care. The LPN may also direct and supervise care provided by other nursing staff as needed. The position is offered full-time or part-time, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state, as required.
Reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care to patients requiring care.
Collect patient data, make observations, and report pertinent information related to patient care.
Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing staff members as needed.
