About The Position

Ascension Greenville Family Practice is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. This role involves delivering direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, administering medications and treatments, conducting patient assessments, educating patients and families, and performing necessary laboratory tests and therapeutic services. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 am-5 pm.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct, compassionate patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician, ensuring all actions are within the scope of your LPN/LVN license.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, meticulously observing and documenting patient responses to ensure accurate, high-quality records.
Conduct focused patient assessments and skillfully monitor their condition to assure the well-being of every individual.
Empower patients and families with comprehensive education on their disease treatment plans, self-care, and post-discharge resources to promote sustained health.
Perform necessary laboratory tests and therapeutic services that contribute to the overall care plan.
