Among the many services offered are, routine physicals, well women exams, chronic disease management, minor in-office procedures and diabetes management including a Diabetic Program run by a dietitian and a geriatrician. As a LPN in this clinic, you will provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician, and be accountable for the quality of services delivered by yourself or others who are under the physician's direction. This position handles medication refills, medication prior-auths, calling patients with lab results, heavy workload managing daily provider and patients messages. Must have experience working in a medical office environment working with large team, calling RX, obtaining medication prior-auths, ability to muti-task with dual monitors, take inbound calls and work directly with multiple providers, residents and other team members. This is a full time (40 hours/week), day shift position: Monday - Friday 8:30A-5:00P. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician, and is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his or her direction. This position observes, contributes to the plan of care, implements, reports and documents patient care in accordance with department policies, standard of care and state scope of practice. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to contribute to the assessment of data and to plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
