About The Position

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota. This LPN works 12-hour shifts, 6 pm to 6 am, an average of 30 hours per week. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required. A generous night shift differential of $5.50/hr is offered. The LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. This role requires the ability to work both cooperatively and independently, and to work efficiently under stress.

Requirements

Education as required for licensure.
Current LPN licensure in appropriate state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month

Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame.
Provides care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
