About The Position
Hemingford Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Hemingford, Nebraska, is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the day shift, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The center provides long-term and short-term care to residents and emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, professional growth, and consistent results. The role includes administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents, performing clinical procedures, coordinating with physicians, families, and care team members, and documenting care. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing in Nebraska.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and staff.
- Working knowledge of long-term care practices and regulations.
- Commitment to quality care and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor residents closely and report changes in condition.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and care team members.
- Perform clinical procedures, including tube feedings, wound care, catheterization, and suctioning.
- Order medications, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Advocate for residents' needs, preferences, and care plans.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation.
