LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact. The LPN provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions and assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs. Full-time and part-time nurses must participate in an on-call/standby rotation. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available to qualifying candidates in full-time status only.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintained as current during employment.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
