About The Position
Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction. This per diem Licensed Practical Nurse position is at the Women’s Therapeutic Residential Center in Henning, Tennessee. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
Requirements
- Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs
