About The Position
VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS) is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions at the Howard R. Young Correctional Center in Wilmington, DE. VCHS is an industry leader in correctional healthcare, emphasizing a passion-driven, non-profit approach. The LPN will deliver quality care consistent with the state nurse practice act, monitor patients as directed, and may delegate duties. The role requires availability for 3-6 weeks of onsite training. Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Must be available for at least 3-6 weeks for onsite training.
- PRN staff required to work 2 shifts per month.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
- Perform tasks, activities, and functions as delegated.
- Make assignments of duties to others as defined by the state of practice act.
- Provide monitoring of patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, Medical Director, or other practitioner.
