About The Position

CNS Cares is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for private duty caregiver roles. This position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, one-on-one patient care in the privacy of the patient's home, allowing for closer relationships and empowering patients to remain independent. CNS Cares focuses on providing unparalleled home health care to various populations, including Armed Services Veterans and former energy workers. Requirements

  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in the state(s) of practice
  • Current hands-on BLS certification and TB test
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2 years of in-home health care experience
  • Must have every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Must be willing to travel up to 60 miles
  • Must be willing to work in multiple homes (if applicable)
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse license to practice professional nursing in each state where patient care is supervised
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Valid and current CPR Certification
  • Valid and current License Practical Nurse license in the state of practice

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to patients in their homes.
  • Build close relationships with patients.
  • Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
  • Work as part of a supportive team.
  • Provide one-on-one patient care.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees.
  • Proactively identify Company risks and institute policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance using related law and industry data.
  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities.
  • Analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions.
  • Utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
  • Take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
  • Maintain current state licensure.
  • Maintain current liability and malpractice insurance, if applicable.
