About The Position
Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a part-time Clinic LPN to provide phone nurse support.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved vocational/technical school.
- Possesses a current Wisconsin LPN license.
- BLS, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Excellent assessment skills, exceptional communication, and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Epic experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, enter and route messages via Epic to appropriate staff.
- Prescription Prior Authorizations, medication refills via EHR and faxes.
- Backup at times to clinical support staff with direct patient care.
- Rotating weekends including rooming patients, entering information into EHR, assisting providers with minor procedures, administering injections, medications and immunizations.
