About The Position
Sunrise Retirement is seeking a Part Time 3rd shift Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) with a $5000 sign on Bonus! This role involves providing direct assessment and care to residents, supervising nursing department employees, evaluating staffing patterns to ensure quality care, and providing emergency services to residents of the independent living community. The ideal candidate will offer quality care with a positive attitude and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Must have a current nursing license and allowed to practice nursing in a qualifying state.
- Able to do all nursing duties following long term care regulations and procedure relevant to the charge nurse scope of practice.
- Able to problem solve situations and come up with interventions and solutions.
- Able to supervise nursing assistants and have some supervisor experience.
- Able to attend all mandatory trainings and keep current on all certifications (CPR, Mandatory Reporter, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct assessment and care to the residents of this facility.
- Provide supervision of nursing department employees and evaluation staffing patterns to ensure quality care to all residents.
- Provide emergency services to the residents of independent living community.
- Provide quality care with a positive attitude and great customer service.
