About The Position
Community Health Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This full-time position is based at their Fostoria, Ohio office, with the flexibility to support other locations as needed. The LPN will work under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, focusing on patient assessment, point-of-care testing, lab and diagnostic follow-up, and other nursing functions to ensure quality patient care. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and skill utilization within a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a current accredited Nursing Program
- Current License to practice in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Knowledge of documenting with EHR
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to critically think and problem solve
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year as an LPN preferred
Responsibilities
- Work directly with patients
- Perform Adult and Pediatric Nursing Assessments
- Communicate clearly with Providers, Patients, and CHS Staff
- Follow-up on Lab and Diagnostic testing
- Administer injections as needed
- Follow all safety, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines
