About The Position
Flagstar is seeking compassionate LPN / Licensed Practical Nurses to work within our client's facilities, providing follow-through of the physician-established plan of treatment and working under the supervision of the RN Supervisor. Flagstar believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities. This is a full-time position with competitive weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and benefits available.
Requirements
- Currently holds an active LPN license to work in Ohio
- CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted)
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated clinical competency
- Reliable Transportation to worksite location
Responsibilities
- Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment.
- Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
- Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.
- Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
