About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Brownsburg Meadows. In this role, nurses build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. They use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, supporting a rewarding and fulfilling care experience. The position is available full-time, with day, evening, and night shifts.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet and exceed residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward the common goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
