About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for students in Spanaway, WA. This role focuses on supporting medically fragile students and/or diabetic students throughout the school day, potentially including transportation needs. This is a full-time position with a consistent weekly schedule, offering focused, meaningful care in a school setting. The role involves W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and a 401(k) with company match. Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses, along with referral bonuses, are also provided. Requirements

• Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a pediatric setting

Nice To Haves

• Experience with trach care, G-tube, and seizure monitoring
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support to students in school
• Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs
• Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
• Support student access to school throughout the day
